How to Tie a Cross Knot

1. Begin with the wide end on your right.
2. Wrap the narrow end around the wide end to the right and then take it behind the wide end to the left.
3. Take it around the wide end to the right.
4. Bring it up into the neck loop from the front on the left side.
5. Come out of the loop from underneath on the right side.
6. Slide the narrow end through the band made in Step 4.
7. Gently take the narrow end to the back of the tie. Take your time to keep the knot as full as possible.
8. Tighten and adjust.

The Cross Knot is similar to the Diagonal Knot and shares a name with the Christensen Knot. This tie tying method is not the same as those two. Try it and see if you prefer it to the Diagonal Knot (its closest relative) and let us know.
